RYG Coaches understand that each player is different in their own right. This allows every player enrolled under the RYG umbrella to be seen as a gift ready to impact the world. IT IS A RAISE YOUR GAME REQUIREMENT that all coaches are USA Basketball Gold Licensed certified and CPR qualified for the current fiscal year.

We believe that every coach must be qualified to breakdown and translate game film, conduct and provide a highly energetic practice/training environment so that every players IQ along with their awareness increase. Under RYG, every coach must teach the information in a way that players receive the knowledge needed to improve their self confidence for their overall game, pre-game preparation, and on-court experience.

RYG academy understands the life of a coach is that of a missionary. Our number one focus is to raise young men and women to be diligent, impactful leaders on and off the court as well as in the classroom. We believe that we have the opportunity to change the lives of student athletes for the better every time they pick up a basketball. Coach Ray's Coaching philosophy - "I want players to know from the moment we make our first contact they have a coach that believes in their ability to succeed not only in basketball but in life. i am the coach that will go through the wall for every player in this academy. parents must know that winning is not my first priority, although i do love to win, if winning is their number one priority then this isn't the home for them. I don't coach for the money, i coach because it is my purpose and calling. my focus is making sure that each player is in a better position spiritually, mentally and morally. life is precious and the time that we are allowed on this earth is the time we are given to leave the world a better place through faith, perseverance and hard work."
